R129 (I-SIZE) standard car seats will ensure greater safety for children since the main criteria in it are the following:
- child height, rather than weight as in the ECE R44/04 standard,
- side protection (according to the new standard, the car seats undergo a mandatory additional crash test for side collisions),
- obligatory Isofix system.

A new safety standard for car seats I-SIZE R129 was adopted by the UN Economic Commission on July 9, 2013. It was also accepted by another 60 countries, here’s the full list.

Maxi-Cosi AxissFix Usage Safety and Convenience 

It will be comfortable and much safer in this car seat for babies from 61 to 105 cm in height.

Maxi-Cosi AxissFix has a 360º swivelling seat to make a comfortable fitting in not yet small :)) kids. Its certainly makes parents life easier because of very easy “getting to” a child when taking them from the car seat or getting in.

Children can ride in that car seat rear facing for as long as up to 15 months.

Riding rearward facing is considered the safest for children. Why? Because with a frontal impact the child’s head will not be sharply leaning forward. It is more possibility to avoided injuries.

The car seat recline is adjustable. There are 4 different positions. Moreover, it is possible to recline the car seat in any position. At the same time, AxissFix is quite high, which gives the child a good overview around on the journey.

The headrest is adjusted simultaneously with the harness.
There is a special indicator that will tell you when it is time to change the position of the car seat from rear facing to forward facing, depending on the hight of your baby.

The baby is secured with the 5-point harness. There are special hooks for straps keeping the harness open when seating the baby in the car seat. It is small but very handy feature!
The special A.S.B system (Automatic Safety Belt) always keep the connection between the seat and the base of the car seat.

Due to ISOFIX system, the installation of the car seat is quite simple and convenient. There is also an additional Top Tether.

Special light indicators ensure correct installation.
